Hi Desmond,
Did anyone answer your question? If so I didn't see the reply . I have no clue myself. I was on TI in 2003, and except for the Basilone Theater ,
B uilding 1, the Chapel and the Navy Ex change, I didn't recognize much. I found a chunk of concrete slab where Bldg. 318 used to be but
no way to know if it was authentic. I have a photo of me standing on that "piece of floor" anyway.

Subject: [K6NCG] How late was the club active? Special event station anyone?
Hi guys,
I'm curious to know how long the club was active here on the Island. Was it still operating when the base closed in 1997?
I was also talking with Pete, WA6UDU at the "Candy Store" last weekend about picking an important date and running a special event station with the club call from out here to try to get as many of you to work us.
Any interest in that and suggestions for an important date? Is there a known date that the club was established?
Our family plans to move sometime within the next year, so I'm hoping to do something fun for the TIARA group while I'm still living here on the base.
Cheers and 73!
