[K6NCG] How late was the club active? Special event station anyone?

Hey Tom,
We must have known each other while at K6NCG because I remember someone bringing in some UHF surplus stuff and it was the first time I had seen a real tuned cavity.
I remember helping to re-tune s ome of that equipment but don't recall working any local hams with the gear after the modifications. Did you work anyone with it? just
curious.

I was in SFRAN on business, in 1982, and unfortunately didn't have military
ID on me, so couldn't get in - another Chief at the gate was very
apologetic, and was on the "edge" to let this BMSN take me round, riding in
their pickup, but his LtJG showed up, and it didn't happen... i.e. as of
then, I'm not sure.
