Sorry gentlemen for any misunderstanding or negative connotation regarding my last . . . " John [ Jon Blackmon] helped me with converting two 11-meter CB w alkie talkies to 10 -meters but they didn't work. I helped John build a grounded-grid Linear [ amplifier] . It didn't work.". . . I should have added . . . "but we had Fun, grin! grin!"
To be fair, in case Jon is listening, the amplifier did pass a signal but Power Out was = to Power In . I remember Jon saying something like; "that's 0dB gain!" We had fun on the old workbench just trying.

It helps to have a name spelled correctly, thanks Mike! John helped me with converting two 11-meter CB w alkie talkies to 10
-meters but they didn't work. I helped John build a grounded-grid Linear. It didn't work.
