While I was in ETA school in 1960, someone used a 1/4 inch bolt to replace a 1/4 amp fuse in the Thunderbolt. It was out of commission and that Nut Job was sent to the fleet to paint and not allowed any electronic access for the time he had left in the service. I think he may have been busted as well.
