[K6NCG] The beam in 1961

I used to hang out at the western sea-wall shack from summer 61 to about March 62.  We were working phone patches all over the Pacific from guys stationed out in the islands using the beam (before you folks cleaned it all up), the Collins S-line and the Johnson linear.  Most of these contacts were on 20 meters.  We always got good reports shooting west over the bay.  We were running about a kW.  That beam always seemed to work.
