[K6NCG] Saving a piece of History

Hey guys,

Remember how pete and I said "You better get out here while there's
still something to see?" There's a big change happening right now and
I'm trying to save an important piece.

They're putting in a rugby field where the 70's ham shack was and
they're breaking up the concrete. One of the features of that space is
the base of the old tower with the callsigns scratched in it. I'm
trying to save that piece of that concrete to keep. The part that says'
K6NCG is still there but I need to find a way to cut it out of the
larger piece without breaking it. I have a cordless drill and I even
have a cordless circular saw but I need some help, or at least advice,
on the right blade and how to do this without destroying it.

If there are any of you on the list who have their call in this cement,
let me know and I'll try to save those parts too. Most of them are
unreadable, but the club call is visible. Ironically, the "forever"
that followed it has been chipped away already.

Any help?

Desmond, KC6VHG
