Let's try this again, The radiogram that was supposed to be included with 
the earlier message was trimmed by the group moderator due to message size 
and the url for "Maritime Radio Historical Society" below the message was

K6NCG Alumni,

Most of you will recall the civilian ship to shore message station KPH at 
Bolinas near Pt. Reyes Station in Marin county.  Ten years ago on July 12 
and era came to an end.  Ship to shore Morse communications ceased and KPH, 
the last shore station, closed its doors.
The URL's below the Marine Radiogram will take you to their website where 
they tell the story much better than I.  Please take a few moments to relive 
the way things used to be.
If you are anywhere near the Bay Area, please try to come visit the site on
