First of all For Joe, I am very sorry to hear that you will not be joining
us this year. We were looking forward to hooking up with some of the old
gang of 40 + years ago. It's hard to believe it has been that long!

For the rest of you out there, none of us are getting any younger, so start
planning now for next year. Not only is the Island changing, we too are
evolving(getting older!) and as time goes on travel is becoming more and
more problematic.

Bill, thanks for the bump, here is the working plan for the weekend. Please
understand that this is very much a work in progress and there may be
changes.
As to this year, we'll set up shop in the parking lot of Clipper Cove in
front of the Treasure Island Yacht Club (the old Special Services building)
just outside and to the right of the main gate. We are planning two
operation positions, a Yaesu FT-897 and an Icom IC-756 Pro both running on
emergency power.
For antennas, we have a 80-40-20-10 fan dipole and a BuddiPole system that
we are going to try to load up.
Though we haven't settled on frequencies, I think we'll be working mostly @
Mhz.292 at the top end of most bands, plus/minus QRM.

We'll probably be on the air Saturday into the evening hours and hopefully
again in the morning, but not all 24 hours. Right now there are just the
two of us to operate.

I'm sure we can come up with a commemorative QSL card, it seems only
appropriate to commemorate the event.

Any one have any suggestions as to where you would like to look for us or
any operating requests?

73 for now.
