[K6NCG] good old days

Hi Chip, et. al,
I certainly drank my share of it, but never the whole pot!.. The story
of using the berserk coffee pot to make popcorn was hilarious and speaks
volumes to the intelligence and innovative nature of the ET students at
TI. As for the file cabinet with beer...Hmmm might have been cause for
major disaster for the ham shack. I don't think we ever did anything
like that when I was there. We had a definite appreciation for the
privileged status that we enjoyed as hamshack members and would have
done nothing to upset that situation. Besides, our lead petty officer
Frank Mizell, K4DGU, (Dirty Gerty's Uncle) was one of the finest people
I have ever known and I think he would have personally kicked our a**es
individually and collectively if we had been caught doing anything like
that.
The memories are wonderful. Keep them coming. I am so sorry that I won't
be able to make the Field Day. If we could arrange a reunion sometime
and I thought there would be a lot of guys there that I knew, I would
try to make it.
73 all,
Dave, K4TO
