[K6NCG] Field Day at Treasure Island

Desmond,

COOL!  I wish I could pull off being there, but I'll just be getting back
from King's Point, NY... a friend's son (also my friend) will be graduating
from the US Merchant Marine Academy there, and he wants to give me his
second salute.

Please however, keep us aprised on what frequencies you might plan to be
on... interestingly enough, our OLD "get-together" frequency used to be
14.292.  We often ran patches from KC4 stations (Antarctica) on that freq,
so must be why it was picked, yonder back in 1962!

Ahhhhhh, the coffee pot in the front room, a sterling view of "Surfside Six"
(radar school), and the fog shrouded island, while you pick your way back to
the barracks, walking right by the old World's Fair fountain (the one with
continents).

Way Cool, Desmond... way cool.
