[K6NCG] Field Day on Treasure Island.

Hello Everyone,

This is Desmond, KC6VHG.  I'm an active ham and current resident of 
TI.  I've really enjoyed seeing the photos and reading the stories that 
have been posted about K6NCG.

I spent a while studying the photos trying to figure out which building was 
the shack and finally found it.  Unfortunately, only the foundation remains 
but there was a pleasant surprise.  "K6NCG FOREVER" is still etched into 
the old tower foundation, along with a bunch of callsigns.  That was a rush 
to find that, thanks for leaving it!

I've always wanted to invite all of you back to the island to operate from 
the old site for field day.  The city has big plans for the island and I'm 
trying to keep the history alive out here.  I'm pretty sure I can make all 
of the arrangements if there's interest from the group.  Please get back to 
me ASAP and let me know what you think of coming out here for Field Day 
this year.
