Hi Byron
I was at T.I. in 1953. I operated K6NCG a lot also. I designed the QSL (You 
can see it on the website. It has my call on the bottom front. We had a BC610 
xmtrmade by Hallicrafters, at the time. Im not sure what the xcvr was. I went 
on to serve on the USS winston AKA94 as an ET.
Got out at the end of 55 and went to college. We had an active club at K6NCG 
when I was there.
am very active on all bands from 40-10 Mand also 2M
