[K6NCG] K6NCG Field Day, 1963

Hi,

My tenure there was in 1962, along with those guys shown in the first rows of pictures.  I'm the dweeb sitting in front of the AT-1 & NC-120,
with the big ears and the Novice ticket.

I was just given a Heath AT-1 with all the caps missing, so think I'll resurrect the old girl, just for fun... Ahhhhh what else does a guy
need, when he has a good 6L6 on 40m?  (yes, I still have a handful of xtals. from those barrels in the back rooms of the surplus stores on
upper Market St)

PS - Does anybody know exactly when Frank Mizell (K4DGU) became an SK?  I notice he's finally gone from QRZ, so that means it's been a while
- a letter I sent to his address a year and half ago, came back.  He was the custodian and great guy there, in '62.
