[K6NCG] Junk makes memories

Hi,
I was sifting through some stuff from a long forgotten
junkbox the other day, and came across a B&W MEL-80 coil.
These were on a ceramic base with 5 pins, and included the
output link as well.  I had made a QRP xmtr at the old
shack, sometime around August or September of '62, and
although the xmtr. "went away" some time ago, I still had
the coil... even smelled like the old shack; that curious
smell that USN electronic equipment always has, when you
walk into a room full of it.  73 to all, and hope 2002 is
terrific for you.
