In grousing about looking for Morse Code trainer software, a program called
"CW Com" (CW Communicator) was discovered from the webpage
http://www.mrx.com.au/.  This program enables connection to other users via
the Internet or any network and exchange messages via CW.  An interesting
feature of the program is that it can tap into the AP news service and
generate what amounts to an unlimited number of CW practice messages based
on AP news headlines.
