Some progress made...
The delta loop is back in service, turned out the shield on both ends of the 75-ohm matching link were open. Connectors were replaced.
A digital link to the Icom 718 has been established as part of the Winlink 2000 install. The interface is a serial +/- 12 volts to 0-5 volts adapter. Windows and Ham Radio Deluxe have been installed on a computer with two serial ports in preparation for establishing this equipment as a Winlink 2000 hub. Ham Radio Deluxe is an incredible program if you are not already familiar with it. It allows computer control of a HF transceiver. It has many, many features but is very easy to use.
The UPS power line has been improved. It still needs work. But at least the repeater should not be interrupted by the lashup we have had in place for the last year or so.
Could use a few sunspots. Propagation was spotty tonight on 80 meters.
