The Valley of the Moon Amateur Radio Club holds an annual breakfast and swap
meet in Sonoma each spring. It is a small but good swap meet where local
hams bring out their "treasures" and where you can often find a good
bargain. For example, a Yaesu Model 1500 50 watt 2-meter mobile transceiver
was sold there for $40! I wish I had found it first. Here is the
information for April's event.

Bob and the group,

The Valley of the Moon ARC Hamfest is Saturday, April 25, from 8 to
noon. It will be at the Sonoma Valley Veterans' Memorial Building, 126
First Street West, here in Sonoma. We will have breakfast serving from
about 7:30 to 10 a.m., a VE session and a swap meet with spaces at $10 each.

You can get more information and a map on the VOMARC website at
http://vomarc.org/, or just drop me an email at wd6bor at vom.com.

We will have a club station operating for QRPTTF, as well as
demonstrating digital modes. Breakfast is $6 BTW.

I hope to see many of you here. Please spread the word and bring a friend!

72/73,
Darrel, WD6BOR

Another gem stolen from the QRP-L newsgroup.
