Good evening all,

I'm new to the area and have always enjoyed shortwave radio, scanning, and love watching the space program. I have also wanted to get my Ham license for many years but due to my career on ships never had the time to finish the process. I plan to take the test this Feb so I can get on the airwaves with the rest of you.

I've included a link to a very interesting site you all may enjoy. I passed it along to Bill who thought everyone may enjoy it, so now it's yours. It can be used to track the space shuttle and many other Seattleites! Go to the site, sign up following the prompts and you can use the predictor for visible passes. I've observed the shuttle pass twice this week. It's currently docked to the international space station which has made it very easy to see. It will appear to be a bright dot about the size of one of the brighter planets but it will be moving across the sky fairly quickly.

So, check it out soon! http://www.n2yo.com/
Enjoy NASA TV on the web also! http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html
