[K6BW] VEC Session a great Success! Then came the DX!

Thanks to all who participated in the VEC session this Saturday.  We made
several new hams very happy, and welcome Craig Sharrow (call yet to be
assigned) as the newest member in the club!

Peter, Tim, and Harold conducted the VEC session today.

After we cleaned up, Dave, N2NL arrived and, true to form, nailed several DX
contacts.  Think at least six contacts were made to Russia, at least one to
North Africa and who knows where else.  He was busy on 20 meters CW when
Harold and I left to fix what turned out to be a defective power supply in
his computer, and a power supply upgrade in another computer.

All in all, a great, fun day at Hamilton!
