[K6BW] 80 Meters is Wide Open Tonight (Tues. Dec. 26)

Indeed the conditions seemed very good on the 26th. 
Look here for pictures of a temporary setup to check
out the eventual (6 more years) N2NL/4 QTH:

The last 3 pictures show the setup - a borrowed rig
and a 150 some foot wire thrown over a tree, maybe
30ft high.

meters by holding my MP3 player over the speaker of

You can hear him CQing about 30 seconds into the file
- he doesn't hear the people calling him.
