Hi Dave,

Is his station where you participated in the contest?  KW-1's are real race
horses!  A '30's Zenith AM radio just sold for $40,000 in an east-coast
auction.  For some, apparently cost is no object.  Hope he joins us on 80m
AM!

We can measure the coax velocity factor, but hope it works.  It looks like
good coax to me.

Met new members Steve Bunker, W6CNC and his wife Mary tonight.  Steve wants
to put a log-periodic on top of the radio tower.  I told him you thought it
would be too high, but he wants to talk to you re. antennas.  He is also
very enthusiastic.

listen in.  :-)

Good news re the antenna.  Have been suddenly busy, don't know if I can get
up there tomorrow, but would like to.

PS - 75M loop will go up tomorrow afternoon.  My son
will help as the ground crew.  Hopefully the mystery
75 ohm coax has a velocity factor of .82, because the
thing won't load if it's different!
