The next generation softrock will be a complete receiver including 
analog switch, DDS and all the sound processing done in a single 
FPGA. It will also include the transmitter exciter, needing only a 
linear amp to make it a complete transceiver and it won't need a PC 
connection at all.

Fasten your seat belt and hold on Mike, good things are coming.
