This is Class E, which you may already have. Articles cover class H
modulators.

There was an early article on Class E transmitters for 160 meters in QEX
some years ago, but thought it was of limited value. The key (and the state
of the art) is in the speed of the FET devices. They have improved, of
course, from the time earlier articles were composed. There may be links
to additional articles in the above URL's.

I'd love to build a Class E AM transmitter. It isn't expensive, and we have
lots of parts. Just haven't been able to focus on beginning the project.
Extra time this week was spent putting HWA accounting into Quickbooks. At
least that's done.

I have some information on a class E amplifier that intrigues me (try 95%
efficiency, no need for heat sinks, etc). Does anyone know of a source of
information I could review on class D through class H amplifiers?
