[K6BW] FCC Examination 19th March 2005

Sounds good to me Bill. My calendar is currently clear in April on
Saturdays. Unfortunately it was initially clear for 19th March but you can
never predict when funerals are going to turn up. I am contracted to attend
if a funeral is booked at the Church I play the organ for. I do four or
five funerals a year normally, mostly in the afternoon and mostly not on
Saturday. In March I was booked for Saturday morning funerals on 12th March
and 19th March. Is this the start of a pattern in Marin or is it a
statistical fluke? I suggest we advertise for 9th or 16th April and I will
keep my fingers crossed. KG6MZV

Since we (I) haven't announced a schedule yet, and since you can't make the
test, wonder if we shouldn't reschedule the March 19th test to a time where
Peter can help with the examination. What is a good date Peter, sometime in
April?

Bill, as explained on the net last night, I am contracted to play for a
funeral on the morning of 19th March 2005, which was when I had promised to
be a VEC. You indicated that you could easily raise 3 VEC's for the
examination planned on 19th March in the morning, without relying on me. I
would appreciate it if you could plan to get someone else in my place. I
will plan to come up to the clubhouse as soon as I am finished in case you
have difficulty. Thanks, KG6MZV
