[K6BW] Scout-O-Rama May 22

Just received this invitation from the Boy Scouts:

"The Marin Council of Boy Scouts is having their annual Scout-o-Rama on May 22 at the Amphitheater at Hamilton Field, and we thought this would be a good opportunity for Amateur Radio to get some exposure.  In other words, we would like to see if we could get the Hamilton Wireless Association to put together a station to demonstrate amateur radio to the youth and their families."

Would you like to participate?  This is an excellent way to show off your station and a chance to encourage youngster's interest in Amateur Radio.   The Amphitheater is a great site, all green grass and without the afternoon winds that blow through St. Vincent's fields.  If we get there early, perhaps we can take advantage of the picnic bench we used last year.  It was a perfect place to set up a station.  It really is a lot of fun to watch youngsters with eyes wide open as they hear a signal from a small radio, then memorize half the Morse alphabet while sending simple CW messages to each other.

If we could set up a simple craft project, I am sure we'd have a busy site.
