[K6BW] CW Practice

Think I can make it this (Monday) evening at 7:00pm. 7035 MHz or first
clear freq up.
I picked up an Instructograph CW wind-up sender over the weekend, and have
one Morse paper tape. All the others are Continental. I don't know if I
have the guts to try it out though. It is pretty hard to get it to send
slow, it often stops. It is reportedly made of old wind-up phonograph
parts, complete with a slide-regulator and hand crank to wind up the spring,
and has no electronics (just a switch contact). But, before computers, that
is all anyone had, besides records and tape. It's fun to watch. Wasn't all
that long ago.
Anyway, hope to hear you on tonight.

Hi Rem,
Think we will get together tomorrow (Tues.)
evening at 7:00 pm 7.045 Hope condx. are good.
The condx.. were bad on Sunday. I wanted to work Museum Ships on Air
but could only work 2 ships. I copied about six ships in the morning,
including the Mighty Mo. in Hawaii but they couldn't hear me.
Then the bottom dropped out of the band and that was it for the day.
Hope to see you tomorrow.
Bill
