Here is a reference to all who melt solder once and a while, but would =
like a refresher.

Couple of notes. A packet VHF link to the MARS node was established =
over the weekend. NNN0DXB is our Northern California hub of a national =
message network. You do have to be a MARS member to use the frequencies =
as they are not in the amateur band.

Thanks to Jeff of the Boy Scouts and the handy use of his chain saw, the =
road has been cleared of overgrowth for this year.

A heater, installed in the main meeting room, won't roast chestnuts, but =
is working well. :-)

What have you been working on? Want to see what a 1931 McMurdo-Silver =
shortwave receiver looks like? It's a super, but without AVC. Has big =
baseball bat-shaped bottles for devices that glow in the dark.

Hope to see you at the February Meeting this Tuesday, 7:30pm at Bldg. =
549!
