Thanks for joining the net this evening.  Here is the recipe for Wassle:

 

Wassle

Ingredients: 
1 gallon apple cider 
1 tsp whole cloves 
2 tsp whole all spice 
2 3" cinnamon sticks 
2/3 cup sugar 
2 oranges studded with whole cloves 

Method: 
Mix cider, cloves, all spice, cinnamon sticks, and sugar in a large pot.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain before
pouring into serving bowl. Garnish with floating sliced oranges studded with
whole cloves.
