Here is some info from Small Wonders Labs on the famous Rock Mite Kit.

We can make a group buy for a buck discount.
Perhaps we can all  pay at the next meeting and write a single check
to send to Small Wonders.

So far we have five builders who want the kits
Anybody else  who wants to get in on this fun project let me or Bill
Smith know.

The Rock Mite is a simple QRP transceiver kit with a built in keyer to
xmit on  7.040 mtrs (+ or -)  Can be built in an evening.  A great
project for first time
kit builders.  Learn or hone up your soldering skills  with small
components
on PC board.

Bill- Thanks for your inquiry! The discounts are really minimal on this
one- 5 at $24. There's just not a lot to work with! Current backlog is ~
200 kits, about 3 weeks worth. On the good side, if you note your
schedule needs on the order, I'll meet them. I pay special attention to
