May I make a suggestion?

I know of an excellent site that is available for free.  It is on top of a 
moderate hill offering an excellent radio horizon.  There are plenty of 
supports available, indeed, some of them more hospitable than trees!

Yes, I'm talking about our very own parking lot outside the club house.

We can set up a generator & make our own power, pitch our tents, and set up 
temporary antennas for field day.  We have the additional amenities of the 
club house nearby, a kitchen, rest room, and shelter.

Not only that, if we should put up a particularly good antenna for field 
day, we could leave it up and use it at our leisure the rest of the year...
