Thanks for the signal report, Peter.

The guy in Fair Oaks was a fella I used to QSO with almost every
night about 5 or 6 yrs ago on the 80 meter novice band.
I lost track of him after I got my general ticket and was glad to bump
into him again on 40 meters. A nice Rock mite surprise.

Also made contact with W7GEE (try that one in CW) in Arizona but
conditions were rough.
He gave me a 339 but signed off quickly due to heavy QRM

I copied Rem at five watts but no go with the Spam machine

Well, we must try it again.  It was fun tying.
Maybe set the time a little later in the evening when the band quiets
down a bit. Mornings are good also.......nice and quiet.......
maybe Saturday morning around 8 or 8:30
