No Joy

Well I was  listening at 1630 / 00:30 UTC
and used my 40 meter dipole tuned the best I could to 1.5 swr.
I even sent some CQ CQ QRP K6BBQ... no joy
I could barely hear a thing today on my Spam Mite Classic.
.... I think the sound was louder when using my MP-1 vertical Super 
Antenna.

In desperation for a QRP QSO I cheated and switched back to the main rig
and sound was louder of course.  I stayed at the 5 watts for QRP rules 
and did more
CQ, but no joy.

16:45 now and I hear someone sending CW like mad, chicken fat and I 
can't hold a QSO
with a greasy ham like that, one slick CW chicken.

Sorry none of us linked up.

Think I will have to work in a group and see if i am getting out with 
the Spam Mite.
