Hi, Herold
I fired up a starchart program and looked at the day/night hours. With some
liberties (read errors), here is a 24-hour chart showing hours when it is
daylight here, and also in Scandinavia. Did the same for night time.
The chart is compressed, but the "x's" indicate a match. There seems to be
only a real hour or so when daylight is present here and there, and several
hours when nighttime covers the path. It is broad daylight (1:00pm) in
Scandinavia when it is 5:00am here, however.

Subject: [K6BW] Sat. Sept 28 Scandinavian Activities Contest
Hi all, The phone portion of the Scandinavian Activities Contest will be
tomorrow starting at 5am PDT. From my experience last week 5 am is 40 meter
time and around 7 or 8 am 20 meters will be working. I will be at the club
house tomorrow morning and afternoon if anyone wants to try to make some
European/Scandinavian contacts with me. 73 de Harold
