Hi,
When we think about total height for the tower we should consider not just
the height above ground, but above other structures, such as the nearby
trees. In the real world, another 30' above level ground may not matter a
whole lot., but the difference between 15' and 45' above the tree tops may
make a significant difference. We can use the same guy anchors for all
levels of guys and maybe the dollar cost for wire isn't so much. It
certainly will be a bigger job to raise the tower and install more guys
after the fact if we are not satisfied with the 55'.
