Al,
     Here is the late afternoon aviation update:         Next system arrives Thursday into Thursday night,
    leading to an MVFR to IFR setup throughout the day from southwest to
    northeast with a rain/sleet/snow setup initially in the morning
    before freezing rain encompasses terminals north and west of DCA.
    CHO should be the first to rid the potential wintry precipitation.
    Greatest ice accumulation risk is for MRB. 
     In the TAFs, rain mixed with pellets seems to be the order of the day in Martinsburg and Dullis from 7 AM to 5 PM.  Same for DC National (DCA) and BWI, only beginning at around 11 AM.  Unfortunately there is no TAF for Frederick.  Topper Shut's forecast didn't sound dire but was cautious during the mid part of the day.
