[K3VOA] Resignation

As I announced at the club meeting today, I have retired from USAGM and as a result, I am resigning as president of the VOA Amateur Radio Club.  The terms of the current officers runs through the end of this year.  Under the club constitution and bylaws, a retired employee can hold the position, but I feel that due to the difficulty in getting in the building as a retiree and the fact that I want to explore this retirement concept a bit, I do not feel that I could do a credible job continuing.  Under this scenario, the VP assumes the duties and the bylaws seem to be silent on whether an election needs to be held or not, so guess that can be decided at the next meeting.  I'll still be around and will attend the meetings when I can (I even remembered to pay my dues for this year!).
