[K3VOA] April K3VOA Meeting

The April meeting of the K3VOA Amateur Radio Club will be held on Monday, April 1 at 11:45 AM.  For those who want to join us remotely, the information is below.  The bridge will open at 11:30.  Please check in early so we can begin at 11:45.  Once again, let me make a plea to those members who are retired or not in the Cohen building.  Please make use of the GoToMeeting capability.  It's extremely easy to use.  A link at the bottom of the page has a guide to first time users.  Plus we would enjoy hearing from you and having your participation.


I'm happy to announce that Pete Smith, N4ZR, will give us a short presentation on the Reverse Beacon Network (RBN).  The RBN consists of over 150 SDR's around the world, reporting to a central database.  The RBN can be used to track activity on the bands as well as a tool for antenna testing or comparison against another station.  Pete is one of the chief architects of the network.


For those who have not paid 2019 dues, now is the time please.  $12 at the meeting or contact me if you want to pay by check or PayPal.
