[K3VOA] Status of Antennas at VOA Shack

Folks,

Due to the solar panel installation occurring on the roof of the Cohen building, we have some temporary operating limitations.

1.  The rotor cable had to be disconnected in order to create enough slack to route the cables on the roof as needed.  Consequently, there is no rotor control at the moment until we splice on an extension.

2.  Because of the proximity of the work to the antennas, there shall be no HF operations when workers are on the roof.  I'm not so worried about RF exposure as I am about someone touching an antenna and getting a burn.  There is also a sign on the antenna switch and tuner.

This is a temporary condition, as this is a fast track project.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
