[K3PZN-List] Yeasu FT-891 and Windows 10 issue

All,

Does anyone have experience getting Windows 10 to recognize a Yeasu FT-891?

I have a new FT 891 and I've followed the driver installation instructions
but Windows 10 is not recognizing it.  It recognizes the drivers as a
device but then registers the USB port on the FT-891 as unknown device.  A
call to Yeasu tech support acknowledged that a lot of folks are seeing this
issue but the "expert" in the problem was not available.  It appears to be
a Windows 10 issue.

Windows 7 recognizes it just fine.

Any thoughts or solutions would be most appreciated.
