apparently worked.  Looking at the sd it just says the folder is empty.  It
took a long time to format. under properties - it shows a removable disk,
FAT32, 16,384bytes used and free space of 29.8 GB.

Now I need to load the OS and piHPSDR software.  I have loaded the OS
(raspberian) and when I look at the sd it says the sd needs to be
formatted.  Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?  Is there a sequence to
unzipping or loading an image or some other stuff that I am not recognizing?
