To all:
Just a thought....is there a reason the club has chosen Tuesday evening for the net? It seems to be a busy net evening. The Keystone VHF Society has their digital and SSTV net at 8PM on 146.97Mhz. The Easton Club has a net at 8 PM 147.045 Mhz and there is a Baltimore 6 meter net that meets at 8PM, all are on Tuesday evening. There maybe other nets that I am not aware of. Could we consider a different evening?
Thanks, Fred Merker K3TAZ

Subject: [K3PZN-List] Net control volunteer roster
All,
After discussing the sporadic net control for the Tuesday, 8:30 pm net with
Andy, WO3L, we agreed that creating a roster of volunteers to act as net
control might help improve it. I volunteered to help organize the roster.
To that end, I'd like to create a schedule of primary and secondary net
control volunteers to run the net each Tuesday evening. My initial
thoughts are to get the next month's organized via the list then make it a
brief agenda item for each club meeting. The primary controller is
responsible for running the net with the secondary standing by in case the
primary cannot make it. If you've never run a net but are interested, there
is a written script that we'll distribute to the volunteers. Hopefully
we'll get it on the web at some point.
If you are interested in taking net control for one of the following
nights, please let me know.
*Date Primary Secondary*
Jan 17
Jan 24
Jan 31
Feb 7
We can solicit volunteers for Feb 14 at our Feb 13 monthly meeting,
however, I'll happily add names in now.
Thanks, and 73,
Pete
