[K3PZN-List] Missin' BoD and General Club Meetings & Echolink Update

Hi Andy and all,

1. I'm sorry I cannot make the Board meeting tonight, nor the general club meeting a week from tonight.  Although I can report I am ready to work on the Echolink interface for the Sykesville machine once we get the validation and authentication credentials for K3PZN-R (noting the "dash R") from the http://www.echolink.org/authentication.htm Web site.  I am checking out a spare laptop to use for this purpose in my shack, so I am all set with a computer.  I think you already said you have a spare 2m mobile rig as a club loaner that is "interfaceable" and that I can pick up and use for this experiment.  I will be out of town and will return next week Wednesday.  So we can do that then based on your schedule.  Also, ...

2. I'd like to visit the two repeater sites with you or Larry after I return to lend a hand and scope out the equipment for future assistance, especially since I am part of a group starting a new LPFM station in Sykesville this summer.  We are currently looking for similar tower space for our 92.7 MHz antenna.
