All,

The end of our membership year is December 31 and I encourage everyone to
renew their membership early. You can renew your membership at the Holiday
Party on December 10, but please bring your renewal, check or cash, in an
envelop with your name or callsign on it. This will insure you get credit
for renewing. You can also mail your renewal to the club's PO Box at

There is no general meeting scheduled for December.  January 8 is our next
general meeting.

Note that this email reflector will be shut down on or about January 15,
2018. Our new reflector, based on Google groups, will take over at that
time. You will be added to the new reflector with your membership renewal
so it is important to get your membership in early so you don't miss any
emails.

Our Holiday Party is December 10, 5 pm, at J&P in Hanover. Please contact
John, AK3Z, at hamster749 at comcast.net if you've not already done so.

Our Meet and Greet with the Frederick ARC is Wednesday, December 6, 7pm, at
Mama Angela's in Mt. Airy.

Tonight, Monday December 4, 7:30 pm, the CW Committee will be meeting at
the Training Center – our normal meeting place – to go over the survey and
decide a path forward to help club members interested in using or improving
CW skills. All with input, ideas, or interest are welcome to attend.

Look for another email regarding the Education Committee's plans for
January's Technician course!
