darn the book is still in print -- I didn't see any used bargains on this edition.  nor was it in QST.  possibly it needs an EZNEC model unless you will copy a recipe verbatim - or experiment a lot.  

K9AY might answer questions -- and who knows if you merely ask a couple questions - he might even send you the article.  

I have had good interaction with Gary on the topic of short beverages -- met him at a conference a few times - and he acknowledges me each 160m contest.
