Thanks for helping me liven up the list, I think.  Yeah these cards are part burden and enjoyment, in particular since I found maybe a hundred from buro that had not been processed yikes.

I plugged a straight key into my extra jack on the big rig, and been trading skcc numbers and meeting some new folk in the slow lane.  And locals AH6AX and AC2C are regulars pounding brass.

I think you are the dude who brought a tt1349 to a meeting and infected me with melting solder for qrp, so I have built a few of these rigs.  hope you manage to find a smaller place where you can do some ham radio maybe.  N3wm has been doing okay trading a tower for a vertical.

No ham radio tonight, heading to hear Columbia symphony.

I have always been happy keeping them in “the box.”  The box was kinda cool.  It was nice to get them out and sort through once in a (great) while.

But, now that Chris and I are moving to a smaller place, it’s the recycle bin for them.  :-(

BTW, my old paper logs are on the way out, too.  20 years of handwritten notes on 314 countries, all going to dust.  A computer file isn’t nearly as interesting, and I never did apply for DXCC or any other award.  POOF!

Still, it’s not so bad.  The same thing’ll be happening to me down the road, unless I line up a good taxidermist in advance.
