While Kilroy, Patrick L. (GSFC-5680) dreams of electric sheep...:

Pat you should be able to repeat the same command for fldigi
-- either --
# apt-get install fldigi
-- or --
$ sudo apt-get install fldigi
For those not initiated in the ways of Linux, the hash means run the
command as root. The dollar sign means run as normal user. I do not
know why those symbols where chosen but they are what you see at
the end of the command prompt line (the shell).
apt-get should be able to download all the needed dependencies.
The pi does have a graphical install program in the menu listed under
Preferences as Add / Remove Programs.
>From what I saw at the meeting, it looks like the Pi uses LXDE for
the desktop. If anyone needs help with it the website is
<http://lxde.org/>
I myself haven't really used it, So I don't know much about it.
A quick note to other Baofeng users.
If you want to install Chirp to program your radios, the version
in the Debian Repos is out of date.
The latest stable of Debian that came out was just before the version
of Chirp that supports Baofengs. You'll have to download it from the
Chirp website.
