[K3PZN-List] Antenna for sale

Hi Kyle,

The antenna is 26 feet tall. It requires no guy supports. I have it mounted on the ground with radials in the turf. Radials are very easy to install — stretch them out in the grass and pin them down with turf pins (cheap at Lowe’s). They bury themselves in a week or two. I can show you how to do it. I’ll give you radial wire.

As far as mounting, It mounts on a 2’ tube sunk into the ground. I made the hole for the tube in 5 minutes by holding a piece of PVC to the end of a garden hose. Turned on the hose while holding the PVC vertical on the ground. In less than 5 minutes, I had a cylindrical hole the right size, 2 feet deep. Slipped the mounting tube into the hole, and presto! An antenna mount!

Oh, for a feed line I push coax through a garden hose from the house to the antenna. Just lay the hose on the grass and watch it bury itself in a couple of weeks. If you lay the hose flat on the ground, you can even mow your lawn the same day!

The antenna has worked great for me. Tunes on 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 and 80 meters.

The only reason I am selling is that I’m moving in May to a home where I can’t use a vertical.

I am taking my complete station with me with the hope that I can figure out how to put it on the air, but this antenna can’t be part of the mix.
