Some very good points but...

OK, High altitude nuclear warhead is always possible but not very smart since it will increase radiation levels for everyone eventually. very short term benefit from that perspective, knock out the enemies electronics and then we all die a slow radiation death, defender and attacker alike. Unless they think they can render us electronically helpless with only one explosion?
Oh, and as for "think Snowden" he was not a cyber attack, he was an insider attack, quite different from a security perspective.
