Scott, there is a market for microwave sensors because these ovens tend to leak as they get older so perhaps putting your radios in one you're still using would be better :)

Kyle, I'm pretty sure that the US military can do such but then we & our allies are the countries with the most susceptibility as well, so we wouldn't do it to ourselves. An atomic bomb is one way but we'd have far more to worry about, or possibly we'd have no worries at all by then any way.

Phil,

That sound like a good idea. I don't know who would be able to generate that kind of a pulse I was thinking more of emergency preparedness if something like a war broke out or a HUGE solar flare. Just more thinking on emergency preparedness.
