Don a good way to see the different installations would be to come to club meeting this Monday night. Lots of 2m stuff and some HF stuff as well

I have struggled with the dc power part, and done some creative routing. My rig mounted kinda vertical in middle on passenger side. I use a trunk lip mount so antenna is easy. So it can be done. Maybe 200 bucks in stuff to do 2m only. I can imagine install cost would be a lot more than the parts. Maybe see if someone has a similar vehicle to yours to get some ideas on how to install.
